Founded in Aug’12 by Ankit Mehrotra, Vivek Kapoor, Nikhil Bakshi, and Sahil Jain.

Landed their first investment from Travel Boutique Online.

At 10K monthly dinners, we got acquired by Times Internet.

In 2015

Acquired inResto, a restaurant management software to help restaurants recognize, personalize and engage with their customers.

In 2016

Launched Dineout Plus, a corporate dining rewards program that provides a flat 25% discount at 5-stars restaurants.

Launched Dineout Pay, an exclusive bill payment wallet for diners.

Launched ‘The Great Indian Restaurant Festival’, a month-long campaign that offers 50% discount across a wide variety of restaurants.

Ankit, a CFA charter holder has over 16 years of experience. He is a Tedx speaker and loves to cook different cuisines. He is also an angel investor.

Nikhil is an ex investment manager with experience in managing assets across equity, hybrid and PMS products for over half a decade. An avid reader and fitness enthusiast who loves a good read and workout.

Vivek is an ex Merchant Navy Officer who started sailing during his late teens. Now, he is a part of the dineout team. In his free time, Vivek likes to watch movies and write deep-spirited verses.
